Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar is an American-born British sitarist as well as a music producer. She was the first and youngest woman to be awarded a British House of Commons Award. Anoushka is the emerging star of Indian sitar. She is a student as well as daughter of the legendary Ravi Shankar. She was born in London in 1982 and began her life by hopping between London and New Delhi. At the age of 13 the first time she performed was in New Delhi took place.
