Kirsten Vangsness has been an American actress since the 1990s. Her most notable role was as Penelope Garcia, in the acclaimed police procedural crime series Criminal Minds. Kirsten Vangsness is also the main character in its spin-offs 'Criminal Minds Beyond Borders' as well as Suspect behavior. She's appeared in many other television shows. Since her first appearance in show business in 1998, Kirsten Vangsness has played a number of small parts in film. In the film industry, she's famous for her work as a character in "In My Dreams", "The Chicago 8" and "Kill Me, Deadly". Her writings have appeared in The Los Angeles Times. As well as a playwright she also co-wrote 3 episodes of Criminal Minds. Her main focus is helping rescue and rehab neglected and injured cats.
